We had a wild Saturday night that consisted of battleship, sewing projects, and haircutting. After our busy day at the park, we relaxed on the deck, because it right now is one of those rare times you can go outside without freezing and without dying of humidity, chiggers, and mosquitos. We have about four weeks like this per year, two in the spring and two in the fall.

Yes, he was winning. And went on to win the game.
I also had some sewing projects to work on, things I needed to get done but couldn't at school because I needed a sewing machine. After 5 years, the light bulb has actually burned out. I got my sewing machine from my grandma for 8th grade graduation/14th birthday, and I absolutely love it. But after nearly five years, the bulb just burned right out. So we are working on fixing that. Meanwhile, I hemmed a skirt or two and took in a pair of pants for my mom. And kitty helped too.

Note: new and improved bangs I cut myself!
Since I was home, I got some freebee laundry done, which is great because last Sunday I wasted 3 quarters on a drier that only made my clothes warm and left them wet, and then 3 more quarters on a machine that was broken entirely. Third time's the charm, and at last my clothes were dry. So it was nice to get some laundry done without shelling out my precious quarters. And kitty had to help with that too.

Looks like fun! Great haircutting job Shel! I'm sure Rees was a big help with the laundry. You got some good pictures of him.
